The aspects of her clothing intertwines men’s silhouettes while expressing the strength within women through cinched waists, creating a clear duality between genders. “The goal of this brand is to show both men and women that they are capable of anything and everything. Through oppressive situations, it is possible to come out at the top and feel strong in the position you are placed in. Pretty much show the world, you are a boss AND OWN IT.” She has dreamt of being a designer since the age of nine. After starting a brand at the age of 16 with her brother, she went on to attend Parson’s School of Design in New York. Rupal branched out on her own and created a brand at 20 representing her true story about growth and perseverance in a mental place of oppression. This is Ru by RUPAL.
